As of 30 September 2020, there were 29 unallocated substance and maladministration cases which is a decrease of 11 from last month. However, it is still taking 11 months to allocate these types of cases to an investigator. There is no delay in applications for referrals, admissibility reviews or undue delay investigations.
Staff are back to working remotely after a brief period in the office. We have taken steps to ensure the case files we need are available to enable us to continue to work remotely for some time.
The time limits for applications to be made to the Ombudsman still apply. It is very important that you send your application to SCOAF as soon as possible.
